Zach Selwyn is an actor/singer-songwriter and TV host who you might know from the popular TV series “America’s Secret Slang” on the The History Channel. He also plays “Uncle Leon” on the Disney X-D TV show “Kirby Buckets.” He is most recently known as the host of History/H2’s hit series “America’s Secret Slang.” He has also hosted and starred on Science Channel’s hit shows “Catch it Keep it” and “Punkin Chunkin,” and the original “American Ninja Warrior” on G4.
Zach starred in the Budweiser Clydesdale Fetch Super Bowl commercial – voted top ten of all time. His sketch comedy group led him to become a traveling comedic correspondent/actor on G4’s #1 hit live show “Attack of the Show” from 2006-2009. He also hosted “CQC” with Greg Giraldo & Dominic Monoghan.
Zach has released 5 comedy albums and acted in such films and TV shows as “Kickin It,” on Disney, “Glory Daze” on TBS, “Greek” on ABC Family, “Dead and Breakfast,” “Stargate Atlantis,” and “That 70’s Show.”
Jon Sidel
Jon Sidel, notorious 80s nightclub impresario and restaurateur, began his journey in the music business in 1992, when on a tip from a friend he signed “Grandaddy” to his indie label. From 1994–2007, Sidel worked as a VP of A&R at Outpost (Geffen), Interscope, and V2 Records, before starting his company, Sidel Services. He has consulted for major record labels and artists alike, as well as having branched out into artist management.
In August of 2011, Sidel became SVP of Creative at BMG Rights, where his focus has been on signing new talent and overseeing much of the rock and indie-rock roster. Signings & clients include: The White Stripes, Black Keys, The Strokes, Soundgarden, Ben Harper, The Crystal Method, Interpol, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, St Vincent, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Frank Ocean, The Sex Pistols, TV On The Radio, and Pennywise.
Brett Wagner
Brett “Big Schwag” Wagner has been in the entertainment business for over 20 years, starting out as an actor in Hollywood at age 21. He has guest starred in over 70 tv shows and films, ranging from “Hanna Montana,” to series regular on “ The Jaime Kennedy Experiment.”
In addition to a prolific acting career, Brett has hosted “Monster Garage” on Discovery Channel, “Pass Time” (Speed Channel’s #1 rated show), as well as his own syndicated radio show, “Monster Radio.” Brett became the spokesman for Bad Boy Mowers in 2004 and continues to work with the Arkansas based company along with fellow spokespersons Willie Nelson and Toby Keith.
The Burgundy Room
Hidden among the spanking-new swank spots on Cahuenga Boulevard remains one of the longest-running badass dives in Hollywood: the Burgundy Room. The bar has been around since 1919 and was re-christened the Burgundy in 1989, ushering in the new era of Hollywood bars at the time (Smalls K.O., Lava Lounge, 3 Clubs, The Room).
